BestwoodTM - Your Environmental Choice

The New Zealand Ecolabelling Trust is a voluntary, multiple specification based environmental labelling programme, which operates to international standards and principles.

Initiated and endorsed by the New Zealand Government, Environmental Choice recognises the genuine moves made by manufacturers to reduce the environmental impacts of their products and provides a credible and independent guide for consumers who want to purchase products that are better for the environment.

What is Sustainability

CHH Woodproducts is progressively securing independent certification through the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC™).  This certifies that products are manufactured from well managed forest resources, qualifying buildings to achieve a 5 star rating. FSC is available on CHH Woodproducts solid wood, LVL and plywood products however is not currently available in the Bestwood range of decorative products.
 

As sustainability continues to become more important to both the architectural and building community, CHH Woodproducts continues to search for methods of ensuring that our customers and end consumers receive product that has minimal impact on the environment. Because we choose independently audited and measurable processes you can be confident that we are helping the environment and not just saying we do.
